Brampton Community Centre has been home to Brampton Film Club since it was founded in 2007 after volunteer led research identified a strong local need for such a group.
In 2009 Brampton Film Club was voted the 'Best New Film Society of the Year' by the British Federation of Film Societies, several years later in 2011 they also awarded Brampton Film Club with both a Distinction for it's marketing and a commendation for it's programming.
The Club was subsequently voted one of the three 'happiest' film clubs by the film distribution company Filmbank.
